The race was won by Max Verstappen, ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz Jr.

Race Report

The race started in wet conditions, with Carlos Sainz Jr. leading the field into the first corner. However, Sainz was passed by Max Verstappen on the first lap, and Verstappen went on to lead the race for the next few laps. On lap 12, the safety car was deployed after George Russell crashed out of the race. The safety car remained on track for several laps, and when the race restarted, Verstappen was able to extend his lead over Sainz. On lap 24, Charles Leclerc was forced to retire from the race after his engine failed. This left Sainz in second place, and Lewis Hamilton in third place. Verstappen went on to win the race by a comfortable margin, ahead of Sainz and Hamilton. This was Verstappen's second win of the season, and it moved him into the lead of the drivers' championship.
